The top is oversized and closes with buttons at the front, it also has buttons at either side so it could be tied at the waist or left open. The skirt is gathered just below the waist, is almost maxi length on me and closes with buttons on the side. There is room to move the button at the waist to give it upto 3” more. The skirt has pockets at hip level and buttons up at either side as well so lots of styling options.
