Lovely vintage bag woven in strong thin yellow wicker with beautifully contrasting golden arched branch handles, golden metal buckled clasp and stand-studs. The sturdy metal handle is ridged and fully intact. The base is protected by 4 golden brass standing studs inset on 2 yellow hinge patches.
The inside compartment has plenty of room and is lined with is a strong-wearing white plastic (easily cleanable!) which is in great condition. It has one inner open pocket which is lined with a lovely crimson red plastic and can hold change, cards, etc.
Remarkably there are very few marks from age so nothing to detract from this stunning rare bag.
Body of the bag measures 12.5” x 8” x 3.5" (excluding the 5.25" high handle).
